To Learn More . . .
After you have used the drop-down menus at the top of each page to explore this website, you'll have gained a wealth of knowledge about birding in our area. But, don't stop there! There is a lot more information available that can help you make the most of your stay. Here are a few websites you won't want to miss:
- Tule-Lake.com presents a section on the various habitats found in the Upper Klamath Basin. There you will find photos of the birds in their habitats to help you better search for them during your visit.
- Klamath Basin Audubon Society offers a well maintained message board where you can find which species have been sighted lately. You can also post your questions and an expert birder will answer them.
- Via Magazine carried a great story about the high quality birding that can be found here.
- Refuge Net offers an archive of Birding Community E-bulletins. These are monthly e-mail newsletters concerning birds, birding, and bird conservation across the nation. They are distributed through the generous support of Steiner Binoculars as a service to active and concerned birders, those dedicated to the joys of birding and the protection of birds and their habitats.
- Pelicans on Parade benefits birds in the basin through the arts and community outreach. Look for them when you are in Klamath Falls.
